Mix the ACV with the water and pour it over your hair after you have used the shampoo bar and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Rinse out the mixture and dry your hair as normal. Once your hair is dry, no smell of apple cider vinegar will be left.
If you are not used to using a natural shampoo bar, your hair may need to go through a detox phase from the chemicals in your regular shampoo or other hair products.
You can help this along by doing a hair rinse with diluted apple cider vinegar after washing with the shampoo bar. The rinse also works perfectly as conditioner to use a couple times a week as it has benefits such as helping your hair retain moisture, lessen frizz, improves shine and more!
You'll may experience that your hair feels different after the first washes using a shampoo bar, but it is important that you keep using it, as this is totally normal! Once your hair has adjusted, it will be worth it all.
